Finally got in a trip after having to cancel the first 5 in April to bad weather.  Thank goodness May is around the corner with more predictable weather.  With Mr Tim Bates celebrating his 50th birthday we did manage to catch some fish.  Waves and wind were bad in the morning and we missed a lot of bites, but did manage to end up with 4 to 5 of each species including wahoo, dolphin, and blackfin tuna as the ocean calmed down during the day.  Fishing the last 2 days of the month, so looking forward to some big bites.

We also caught one sailfish.  Plenty of Blue Marlin are showing up too.  The NC Offshore Challenge was this weekend, and the Pelagic won first place in the dolphin division.  A big 43 pounder.  NICE!!   Thanks to all!!

Really good fishing this week.  We caught 250-450 lbs of dolphin each trip except during the Swansboro Tournament when marlin fishing.  Also, a nice 46 lb citation.  We only caught 1 sailfish this week, but we just had a lot of bad billfish luck.  Hopefully we will get this out of the way before The Big Rock.  Jumped of a white marlin, pulled off a white, and had several other billfish encounters.  Also, had a big Blue Marlin pop up right after we just gaffed 3 dolphin, but only had one lure out and was in a hard turn.  We tried to speed up fast to get the bite, but the Blue would not tease enough to bite. Thanks to all.  CM

The weather force a few me to cancel some 31' trips this week.  However, we did get offshore a few days on the 61'.  Green and colder water pushed in slowing the wahoo bite towards the end of the week, but there is some pretty water pushing up from down south that will hopefully kick the wahoo bite in full force again.  We did catch some wahoo, blackfin, kings, and filled the box with big alberts.  One charter stayed busy most all day.  Thanks to all.  CMHealthprose Levitra
